DESCRIPTION

The Marriot Son Antem golf resort is great for golfers looking for a long weekend break, some relaxing holiday golf and the comforts of a modern resort. The resort is a little isolated from the major night spots and would best suit couples or golfers who want a couple of decent rounds without any traveling.

Both courses are usually in excellent condition. Tee shots or not to challenging and the greens are relatively large. Ideal for mid to high handicappers. Barring any major disasters you should return quite a healthy card.

Built by the same designer Fransisco Lopez Segales, both the East and West courses have a similar feel.

This is a little disappointing, if you have stayed at some of the Spanish mainland multi-course resorts that offer different styles to enjoy. San Roque on the Costa del Sol springs to mind were the use of two different designers created two quality tracks but with totally different layouts.

However that said, the West is defiantly tough than the East. Tighter fairways with more trees put pressure on the golfer to strike a clean drive . Bunkers seem better strategically placed. The use of water on the fifth can catch a poor approach to the green. Careful with water to to on the eighteenth which is stoke index 1. Its quite unusual to finish on such a tough note! We’ve only come across Santana in Malaga with a similar finishing hole in Spain, so don’t count on that last hole par !!
