DESCRIPTION
Capdepera along with Pula and Canyamel make up a cluster of 3 good 18 hole courses on this eastern coast of the island.
The course has a lovely welcoming club house and the lack of any great development is a joy. The course is a par 73 and quite long at 6273 mts.
The course was designed by the American Architect Dan Maples. His portfolio of course are very US centric. Capdepera and the Hanover club in Germany being his only two courses in Europe. The course though is one of the best designed tracks on the island.
The front nine and first few holes of the back play over a flat valley with the closing holes climbing into the foot holes of the surrounding mountains.
The bank nine are the most interesting, playing over a varied terrain with gullies, small rivers , rocks and trees all being exploited by the architect to create some challenging holes.
The view from the 18th is fantastic and a nice way to finish a very satisfying round of golf
